Pre-Pro 2 Gauntlet Questions...need help! lol

Hey guys, I'm coming really close to having a troopable PP2 suit ready. However, I'm trying to figure out the Gauntlet still. Like, how are the two rear hoses connected? I haven't found any picture yet that shows what connects the hoses there.

also, where do i connect the other ends of the hoses? I can't even see in any picture where the yellow gauntlet hoses connect on the flightsuit side. and the red gauntlet seems to be connected behind the flack vest...is that correct? Thanks for any help you guys can give me. I'm pretty excited. I'll also be updating my original progress thread with pictures and info...it's been a long time coming.

I used a piece of dowl rod sticking out of the gauntlet to slide the hose over and attach it (I used hot glue, that was my bonding agent of choise at the time lol), as for where the hose connects Im not sure, always thought they all went up the second sleeve of the flight suit, and the way I connected that end was by sewing a key ring inside the sleeve, and putting a small snap link (D-ring) on the end of the hose for quick set up and removal. Hope this helps.

Yeah, I've got clear pics of the right hose going under the flack, unlike the esb and rotj that all just go under the sleeves. And I know the left one doesn't go into the sleeve, so I'm assuming it goes behind the flack as well. However, maybe I should just go against screen accuracy and put it under the sleeves, as that would be way easier lol. The way i heard is best to get them in is sow a clip in each sleeve, and duct tape the other end to the end of the hose and it'll easily go in and out.

I'm thining about just getting some brass plumbing fittings for the hoses and call it done lol

All the Pre-Pro #2 images were made for promotional purposes (especially for Kenner and the Star Wars - The Holiday Special TV Show) and the suit was put in a hurry, in regard of accuracy. The gauntlet hoses should go under the sleeve and then connected to the Jetpack. The SuperTrooper is an excellent reference in some (if not most) of the suit parts:

And here is an image (I modified the image composition a bit) with the stolen Pre-Pro #2 Jetpack which shows all the connectors from the inner bottom part:

The left lower image shows a close-up of the connectors: the left connector is for the chest display, the center connector is for the right gauntlet hose, while the other two (one is missing) are for the left gauntlet hoses.

Other thing you should take in consideration is that the Sandy type left gauntlets (Pre-Pro #2, Promo #1 - with ROTJ helmet and Promo #2 - with Sandy helmet) were different in shape:

This is a quick mock-up. The Pre-Pro #3 suit used the Pre-Pro #1 gauntles and Jetpack, and the ESB Hero is the same, only noticable difference is the flamthrower and the color. You can clearly see that the Pre-Pro #2 gauntlet form is different, and it was modified mainly because of the different flamethrower unit. Altough the ROTJ Hero gauntlet is missing from this image, is also a slightly different in form from the Pre-Pro #1 and ESB Hero.
