I know that the center details are Carved in, but it's the black areas on the outside edges I'm trying to figure out if they are simply painted or not.

I think I have just discovered what the cross shaped recess was!!!

Looking in the skip at work I noticed one of the chemical barrels has a secondary cap in the top, the shape of which is identicle to it but oversize. I am figuring a smaller barrel will have the same but corespondingly smaller. I will try to pos a pic shortly. ( at work and need to scrounge a digi camera).

Can you believe it. Some S.O.B has broken into my tool chest at work and stolen not only $650 worth of Dewalt power drill but also the resin cast balls I have spent approx 15hrs building from scratch :angry .

Damn there are some :moon out there!

Man that really sucks! No way to find out who did it? Good luck, hope you find out who the jerk was tht did that.

I know who did it, but proving it is another matter. Its the same person who back in 99 stole a 4" long model podracer pod that I had spent 30hrs plus creating out of 42 seperate pieces of brazed together brass.:angry

He might have difficulty using his PC at work tho' (friends in high places me ;) ).

Im sure this may have been thought of before but the other day i was in my garage and i saw 2 air horn nozzles sitting there and i though hmmm maybe these could be used as jeptpack thrusters. because i know they arnt the exact shape but every airhorn brand makes a different looking tip.
