Steve,
Several people have the "split plugs" for the stock. It's just no one seems to be casting them.
I will be offering casts soon plus someone else in the EE-3 greeblies thread is casting them as well.

Thought thesemay be helpful in regard to the mounting brackets. The last is a crude drawing I made bascically refrecting what I see on the rear bracket. I believe the front might be a bit different...

Very interesting photos Brak's - especially the first one!

I'll save them now and spend some time looking at them in detail when I get a chance.

:)

Has anyone noticed or come to the conclusion that the MPP barrel is filled with what might be a bondo to fill in the holes? From the reference shots looking in the barrel, you see a white build up. I am thinking that the holes were plugged as too not show through, but obviously not covered up. Anyone else agree? Or is this old news?

edit: This is what I am looking at...

I see what you mean about the image on the left, but the one on the right appears to just be the internal reflections of light entering the tube through the small holes (like a diffused pinhole camera effect).

I used to do a lot of 3D modelling/rendering, which has helped me understand how light behaves and interacts with other surfaces.

along these lines - isn't the picture on the left possibly the same interaction with the orange light entering the tube? It might actually be possible that the tube was at that point perfectly lined up with the holes on the other side of the tube.

I don't see it on any of the other reference photos, so it's quite possibly just an illusion.

I was just looking at some pics from other threads, and was wondering..is there a round "washer" type piece under the biggest part of the Push Rod?? In some pics I think there is, and in others I cant tell...if there is, it would make the rod sit more "flush"(for lack of a better word) against the gun..which makes it look better;)

Any thoughts?

Yep,it seems to be a fender washer for lack of a better term. The exact size I'm not sure about, but there is a washer. :)

Thanks Steve..now, next question. Does it appear to be bent to go with the contour of the gun, or does it look straight?? I say it looks straight, and this is the clearest pic I can see of it..any thoughts??

I always thought it was straight also. However bending it to the contour of the gun would add I nice touch, and since we'd never be able to prove it one way or another given the terrible reference for ESB I'd say take some artistic liberty if you so wish :)

Artistic liberty??? You must have gone crazy!!!! Accuracy accuracy accuracy!!!!!!!!!!!!

I do think its flat though and not to the contour of the gun to give that greeblie something to sit flush against...

Hey guys, once again, I seek confirmation of a source...

Would this be a good supply for the blaster scope plugs? (6 pin Mate-n-lock plug)
