I was asked to put this thread up on here and to explain the colors so here it goes. This is my new pair of MOW boots with JodoKast toe spikes. Love both.
I used the discontinued Polly scale Grimy black and dirt colors. I magics you could use Tamiya NATO Black and a light brown instead but I haven't compared. I would start with Tamiya XF line.
I tried to recreate the "faded" black line on the ROTJ / SE boots. I'm not a big fan of a dark black line on boots. To me it doesn't look quite right.
