My ROTJ Boba Fett thread

ok guys so im sorry ive been negligent in my postings....... oops i got excited.
but the helmets done. waiting on a delivery from my dad of some testors dull cote.

and the gauntlets are halfway finished. (as in the right gauntlet is completely ready for assembly and paint. just need to pour over pics to make sure im not missing any parts on it.) and the left one is currently on standby.

im having one issue though on the right gaunt. how am i supposed to attach the lower tube to the clamshell or the whipcord housing?


not much to glue to and not really anywhere i can hide a screw.

ive heard references to a light on the right gauntlet but i cant find any pictures of it and theres only one light in the greebly kit that came with my gaunts and im prettu sure that one goes on the left gaunt............ any help from the vets?
 
The light is an everready mini light. I know that there are better photos of it but I cant find them right now.
The light was mounted inside the gauntlet and shined out of the black translucent square on the front of the gauntlet. You can see it here:

The switch to turn the light on was on the left side or the inside part of the gauntlet which can be seen here:

Its the white square below the darts.

Also I don't think it was present on the ROTJ gauntlets.
 
I believe it was a recast. I don't know the history of all the parts lol. I just try to match my stuff to the screen references in the gallery.
