Man of War Gauntlets question?

Hey all,
I have a quick question, since I have not received a reply from the man directly.
Does anyone own any of his gauntlets? Or have any info on them. I was wondering what they run cost wise? If you would send me a pm with an idea or approximate idea od that it would be great.
Also if you know how to get ahold of C. himself, email maybe?
I tried a p.m. to him and nothing, is he still around? :confused
Thanks so much,
Christi

christian is good people. He pops his head in here every once in awhile to show off his new wares. He'll get back to you- he's good about his responses.

Yeah you can't go wrong with a set of his gauntlets...I own a set and I love em. Very comfy and durable. Not to mention Christian is a hell of a guy to work with, he makes sure that you are 100% happy with product before and after it reaches your hands. Go with Man of War...you won't be sorry.

Wow...What ah surprise it was to read this...Thank you guys so much for those kind words..Can't tell you how much that meant to me..I've had a run in w/ one of those nightmarish EBay buyers a few weeks ago over my Alpine white Boba Fett helmet and he ruined 4 years of positive feedback..Totally ripped me ah new one..not once but twice and then told me he found it entertaining..

I read about these people but never thought I would actually encounter one so to come to TDH and read those wonderful comments really picked me up so a heart felt thank you from both Christy and I

Sincerely, Christian

:D

I also have a set of his gauntlets. My suit would not be the same without them. The are the best that I have ever seen. I also sent a freind to him and he has a set of his pre-pro ones. They are also very, very nice. Christian is a great guy to deal with.

I hate ebayers . Three years of a PERFECT record and I got some hooligan kid who didn't understand the process screw it all up for me. We've all been there buddy but you know we know you.

Wow! Those look great! I think I know what I'll be getting for gauntlets now...

How much work did you have to do to them once they were out of the package to get them to look like that?

They're made of fiberglass, correct? As such, are they adjustable to fit different sized wrists? Or do you just have to pad them to keep them from moving around.

Is there any chance, anyone who has them, that you could measure the circumference of the gauntlets at the front and back so I could know how big around they are?

Anyone?

I tried PM'ing him too a few weeks ago and still have gotten no response. I recognize hes probably busy, but there were a few things I wanted to know. Perhaps you all could help me. Does he sell both ESB and RotJ gauntlets or just one and you then have to convert to the other? The two sets posted in this set are ESB and then a RotJ set (or at least it seems that way to me). Also how much do they run for? Can someone shoot me a PM or just post some info about them?

Vida and Frank, I was in contact with him a while back, so I have the answers you seek.

He sells both sets. Due to schedule constraints, they come unpainted, with only a coat of primer.

Both sets are $250, including shipping.

Now, my question to anybody who owns them. About how big around are they (circumference)? As they're fiberglass, I'd assume they're not adjustable, so do you just add padding to keep them from moving around too much? Thanks.
