jetpack tips

Ok I done some more on my pack.
The following pics show red and white being applied same way as explained in my other thread.
The yellow has had its weathering finalised using MIG powders.
Mig I believe is the same company as VALLEJO paints , probably the best in the world, they are hard to get here in australia but in not in the UK as thay are from Spain.
Mig also makes oil weathing tubes, as I understand if your paint has been sprayed gloss you use mig pigments an/or oils, but if you sparayed it flat I found that only the pigments work best.
Anyhow dark mud pigments have been added to the yellow.
Later i will add to the red and blue and white.
Please fell free to comment on my jet pack.

I forgot to mention that this pack is a Man Of War, it is of oustanding quality and I could not be happier

jups, looks awesome!!! The weathering looks reallistic and very convincing.

I might... might... dunno... but I might add a few tiny tadds more misting layers... brown, black and grey or something. just a hint to make it more... dustier.

Looking awesome so far.
Be sure to double check your details. The very tops of the canisters on each end of the jet pack should be some form of white.(I made mine silver)
And the base of the canisters(right next to the blue base) should also be white/beige.

Just trying to be helpful. Wouldn't want you to do all of that hard work and then realize after you're done! 'Cuz I've been there and it sucks.

: )

the misting sounds like a good idea to dull a bit the colours, i will first spray a dull coat then mist all over , thanks
the top canisters i have seen , what about the bottom middle canister , is it white aswell?
thanks guys
