so i have the parts for my helmet printing away slowly i started on a jet pack build :O

so here are a few pics of what i have done so far

Any comments or tips are more than welcome and im sure i will be asking for advice along the way.

Just got my self a heated knife to help with the job and this will probably turn into a full build thread as i am on the last few parts of the helmet print.

They are just cardboard postage cylinders I had to cut down the 2 thinner ones to get the right circumference.

So how did you get it so that there is no "point" in the circle? ...like a teardrop

What did you make the thruster cone parts from? Just curious

I 3d printed the thruster and very happy with how it came out. i am also going to try and print the rocket

Nice! I guessed as much. To smooth my 3D prints I use a product from Smooth-On called XTC-3D which is really quite excellent. You may want to check it out.
