Hello! New guy here seeking advice on a ROTJ Boba build

Hello, I've just recently joined The Dented Helmet, and I suppose I'm looking for some advice on a good starting place for acquiring/crafting a ROTJ Boba Fett costume. A year or two ago I built an FX stormtrooper kit, though in my ignorance it was a long and painful process, and not all turned out exactly as I had hoped for one reason or another. I've decided it's long past time for me to realise my dream of a Boba Fett costume, and I'm hoping with a resource like The Dented Helmet and the users here in my arsenal that things will go a bit smoother this time and that I'll have better access to parts and tutorials. Any constructive feedback would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Hey Redcomet! Welcome aboard! The people on here are the best and are so helpful! I am kinda new here myself, this is my first build of any costume... and so they tell me is probably the hardest! I have a couple of threads on here that show how someone of limited manual skills can get descent results through this awesome site! I hope this place serves you well and you have a much better experience than you did on your stormtrooper build!

Hey, thanks for the encouragement! I just want to make sure I start this one off on the right foot, and get the best results I can from my time/money. It's good to be able to get information from people who have done this before and have learned from it, hopefully I can do the same! What was the first step you took in making your costume?

Hey no probs! My first step was buying a Bobamaker helmet then I started making my armor out of a bin... then I abandoned that and bought some RKD armor.... and am currently painting both my helmet and armor....
