Hatch WG1000s cotton parade gloves ROTJ build

Hatch WG1000S Cotton Parade Glove with Snap Back White Large | eBay These are the large size parade gloves from Hatch. I believe the snap is a slide through button in the movie, so they might not be 100% screen accuratete but maybe that could be changed whith sewing. They are not quite as long at the cuff, although I like that because I can dye the gloves and then sew on white cuffs using a cotton twill material and not worry about trying to dye it up to a specific part. Another thing I like is how the fingers are sewn. It seems to bunch up around the finger pretty well giving a bit of a thicker look. It has the three lines on top, but it is not additional material that has been sewn into it, and comes off very easily. Not sure how they compare to other budget gloves, but I thought I would post in case anyone was seeking to build their own for much less of a cost. I picked these up on ebay for five dollars shipped :)
I took a bunch of pics, but apparently I cannot upload them through my phone and I have no photo bucket or snapchat thing so not sure how to put them here unfortunately, so I put a link at the top.

I picked up some parade gloves as well a couple weeks back.

Also have the RIT dye, and some material for the patches, and the pattern for the patches...Once I got them everything together, I realized this is probably a project outside of my ability...

Good luck with this project. Keep us posted.

I looked at those when I got started making gloves, but that snap tho... the accurate closure is a two hole, semi-translucent, pearly white button. I couldn't find a glove with that button, so that's why I construct gloves from scratch.

Right. I thought about removing the snap and sewing a button into place, but I dont mind. Im doing this for fun and only attempting to be screen accurate, I'm okay with a button or two
