Gauntlet tubing question

I bought my webbed nylon tubing for my RotJ gauntlets yesterday. Wondering how you guys typically attach them to

A) The gauntlet -- do you normally glue it to the prongs that they slip over?
B) Up the sleeve -- what does the free end of the tube attach to up the sleeve? How much slack should I have?

Thanks!

Check out this image of the SuperTrooper from the rear with the position of all the hoses.

On the top image from the right you can see where the end of the hose are attached to the Jet Pack. On each end is mounted some thread connectors similar as used by plumbers.

The experts from TDH may correct me if I'm wrong.

I've looked on the first pic n noticed the nylon tubes merely go over some kind of audio-visual type cables. Notice how the right hand wire has a fixture commonly found moulded straight onto the gauntlets themselves - this appendage as a 2pin plug - so that whole part shouldn't be part of the gauntlet and plugs into it instead. The other end of this one seems to be plugged into the bottom centre of the pack after going under the back plate. the left hand wires seem to be just covered wires too, with audio pins affixed to the nylon tubes at the gauntlet end and larger audio pins at the jetpack end - with one connect to the bottom of the pack: http://www.thedentedhelmet.com/gall...ba-fett-return-of-the-jedi-costume-skiff.html I'm guessing the other on plugs into the sockets in the rear middle of the pack like the right hand wire does.

Note how the nylon finishes short of the audio wires when they pop out the back.
The other 2 tubes from the right gaunlet - i dunno where these go, but I beet the have an actual wire running through them too.

Where'd you buy yours from? Finding some that fit were some of the biggest problems I had with my last build.

Does anyone here know the types of wires used? As their female parts can then be embedded into people's gauntlets/jetpack, then the nylon tubes affixed to the male ends of the wires, and then everything will click into place, literally.
