Blaster ESB Recipe

Si, yes it one of your kits from April 2010. The only thing which i've glued on is the Chrome tube. Everything else is screwed for ease of take down and transport...
I can even separate the upper assembly from the lower receiver as it's only a screw which holds the 2 parts together... :)

Those are sweet, I can't wait until I'm ready to order one. Do you have a sale thread in the cargo hold?

Jc27 - I don't have a FS thread in the CH, I tend to get orders via recommendations from folks here and elsewhere (for which I am eternally grateful).

Currently working on another Hasbro'd ESB, here's some pics showing the necessary mods:
Groove dremeled in the barrel to allow LED wires to pass in front of the Speaker (which is a tight fit in the barrel).
ESB Hasbro mod Tormental (2).JPG

Section of breech removed to allow for trigger switch/passage of switch wires.
ESB Hasbro mod Tormental (3).JPG

lever/roller type microswitch in place. Breech block (with section cut out for switch) glued to the frame instead of back of barrel to allow for battery change. Barrel slots on from top and is secured using the pivot screw as normal.
ESB Hasbro mod Tormental (4).JPG

Chrome tube adapter modded to accept LED in centre with four quarter cut outs for sound - speaker is mounted behind this part.
ESB Hasbro mod Tormental (6).JPG

Speaker & LED wiring in place.
ESB Hasbro mod Tormental (5).JPG

Adapter with LED inserted, Front barrel mount glued in place - LED is firing here but ambient light too bright to show it much.

That's more like it - pew pew!

Another ESB FX in progress, have cast some steel into the trigger this time for additional strength.

Microswitch was tacked in place with superglue then epoxied for strength.

Looking good! Will this be a kid-proof blaster? :)
Because the kids like to pull the trigger and I have lost more than one while trooping with my E11!!!
Thanks for the update!

Kid proof is a big ask! However the trigger is steel reinforced and the microswitch is superglued & epoxied in place (will prob add filler round it too). I'd say child resistant :)

More progress, all electronics installed and working.
