Hi,
I need your help.
Here´s a pic of the Fett RotJ Version (Myth and Mystery Tour I think)
You can see, there´s a different colour between the neckseal and the vest. Is it the same way in the TEsb Version?
Thanks
Sven

If I remember correctly, the vest, neckseal, & glove details are all made out of the same tackle twill material, but the neckseal was made with the material reversed. Tackle twill is smooth & slightly shiny on one side and the reverse is more matte and reflects light less.

I hadn't heard that before, but it sounds like it's possible.

Yeah, thats a pretty popular theory...one that I happen to agree with. HOWEVER, the shiny side of the tacket twill (the vest side) does need to be weathered substantially as well, or it is actually brighter than the reverse side when photographed!!!! It reflects light so well in its unweathered state, that it lights up like reflective tape!!!! Greys and browns with an airbrush work well, then hit it with Dullcoat. :)

I am not sure that the neck seal is actually revered. I have tackle twill and am comparing the shiny side and the dull side to the neck and it looks to me that the neck seal is still the shiny side, same as the vest. It even seems to relect the light in the shots from the ref CD.

Another example that has me convinced, is seeing photos of fan Fett costumes whom have a tackle twill vest that has not been weathered yet, and comparing the shine from the flash to the ref CD neck seal.

Or, do I have it backwards, that the vest is the dull side and the neck seal is the shinny side?
