Could this be an ESB side arm?

Hi guys. So I need to have an ESB side arm for my fett. I got to looking through the site and find there is very little to work from. This perhaps makes it a little easier. So I dug out my old Daystate Sam-patriot paint ball gun. It was in bits from when it was cleaned when last used (about 15 years ago, and it is now well outdated). So I put the outer shell together and bunged some internals in the end of the barrel, what do you think?

Will need a tickle, removal of the hopper bracket, paint and weathering, also may replace or try to make the handle a little more wooden. Would it be acceptable?

The original ESB sidearm was a Nemrod speargun and holster. Many TDH members have been making their own sidearms out of the 1970's Ninetendo game guns. They don't take to much modifications, get ride of the cord, some paint, an RF barrel tip, and rub-n-buff will give you one to use temporarily. Chuck Ruffkin was making a st for around $200.00 0r so, but I understand their has been some recent questions on this forum about if he can deliver items in a reasonible amount of time. Check threads for update and questions before ordering

Since the sidearm will more than likely be holstered for most of the time, I don't see any reason why the one pictured above couldn't be used as an ESM sidearm. Accurate? No. Does it look OK? Absolutely!

That isn't the ESB sidearm, that is the Pre-Production blaster :)

That was kinda my point, with the stock removed it would maybe make a good choice for a side arm, especially as it is always holstered and the end of the grip is rectangular.

Thanks for all the comments, you are a wealth of knowledge.
