Just a quick question really, how is the cod piece and kidney plate supposed to be attached to each other? Is it the same system as the collar and back armour? Studs? Cant seem to find any pics anywhere :cry

Cheers

Steve

there are a bunch of pics that show it in the reference gallery here. take a look at the exhibit photos, particularly the mom ones

but to answer directly: yeah, same attachment, complete with studs, one to a side.

Cheers for the info stormtrooperguy, thats what i thought it may be but wasnt entirely sure, its one of the last jobs on the very long list that is building a fett ....now ive just gotta make the list for upgrades!!

Thanks again

Just to add to what stormtrooperguy just said; if you're going with the CHEAPER version of attachment.....VELCRO is the way, both ways (literally).

Now, if we're talking about the way (accurately) it was done in the real suits....well, the very same kind of attachment as the neck armor (square-shaped bolts/nuts combo), but one at each side instead of two.

Since these areas are barely visible, mostly due to the girth and/or cargo pouches cover them, I would go also with a simple machined SCREW and NUT combo each side...less profile, and STILL ACCURATE (as of MoM exhibit). ;)
