Child size jetpack

Hey guys, I'm looking to produce a child size jet pack, sized to fit an 8 to 12 yr old.
I currently produce my own kit based off of WOF's templates. The "base" of the pack measures about 15"X15". Ready pack 001.jpg
Question to all, What size should a "child size" pack be? 10"X10"? 12"X12"?
To keep build time and cost down, The smaller pack would loose about 20% to 30% of the adult size pack detail(keeping 70 to 80 percent).
I have provided a photo for reference to the adult size
What would we as parents, spend for child size pack? (Of course this opens up a whole new set of questions back to me).
Just trying to get a feel here, is there any interest?

I would think the 12x12 would be about right.

The price would be tough but I would think about a 100 for an unfinished kit.

Ha! That was good! I would think 12x12 would be good. I am going to be making one for my son probably out of tubes and cups and such. (In theory!) :)
