Hi all

some advice please, planning on buying boots who should i go for ?

Man or war Studios on ebay- $180 (doesnt offer discount and encourages to buy direct for the same price as ebay ?)
Evolution props with metal spikes $125 (not bad reviews on the good bad and ugly thread) plus comes with spikes !
CA boots $180

I was thinking of getting the Man or War jetpack harness so would save on shipping from USA to uk by buying both

MOW boots ... Big Dane harness and Mojo or MachineCraft for the spikes. Or if you want to go the 3D printed route for the spikes Toolguy here has nice ones as well.

As stated above recommend MOW for the boots. Order a size up in my opinion. I have 2 sets of them & for 2 of my costumes & wouldn't hesitate in buying another.

I also offer a 3D printed harness as an option, straps & painting required.

I like the look and the short waiting time. In my eyes the closest to the movie...

Yeah the evolution ones are kinda net like rather than canvas

ok I have no idea how the harness works for me mow looks comfortable rather than a huge steel frame thing

I have Toe Spikes from @toolguy301 .. they fit the MoW boots very nicely.

Will look into it

Wot size feet are you ?

The size of your feet determines which not to go for , if you are a UK 9 or above go for MOW ! It is by far the best boot . Smaller feet and its caboots . Evolution are ok but the quality can be hit and miss

I purchased a pair last year,i havn't trooped in them as i am still collecting parts to begin my build for my manokin but they look movie accurate, providing you get the right size for your feet they are comfortable to wear and i think they would last a good few years if your the trooper type.
