I put this together today was wondering if it's good enough for the beacon light.Its from a model train.Its a real simple connection just curious if it will pass 501approval?

I don't think that there are any specifics for the light for 501st approval, especially at the level one phase. Looks good to me though! Nicely done.

I appreciate u taking the time Deathproof.I will def be moving foward with my budget light.it cost me less then 15 bucks.

Without looking at the 501st page, I'm pretty sure for 501st level one (maybe level 2) is just a white light from the beacon.
