Blaster ASI Scope

Im not an expert, but to me the 4x20 Tasco rifle scope lools pretty close. You can find them at Walmart for $16

You can get almost any generic 4X20 scope that has the correct look and it will pass, but the modern ones tend to be about 1/2" shorter than the vintage ASI, Hunter, etc. You will then also need to find the correct mounting clamps. The windage knobs are also incorrect on the newer scopes, but they are passable. I have replaced the entire knob section with a resin cast in the past and that works but then the scope has no adjustment so it doesnt work properly, if that matters to you.

I believe sidewinder includes a replica scope in his EE-3 kits, i think its an aluminum tube and resin cast ends and knob section, but not sure if he'd sell one separately, you'd have to contact him to see.

Ive used these in builds in the past - search e-bay for : Hammers AIR GUN RIFLE SCOPE 4X20 with Dovetail Ring NEW item#171128300341

What ive done with these is unscrew the end with the ribbed ring up until i start seeing the threads, and then just lock it there (i sometimes will glue it as well) so you'll get a touch more length out of it.

If you type in "4x20 rifle scope on e-bay, plenty come up, most are useable, but will need the mounting clamps removed and you will need to find the correct ones. I believe Stormrider and sidewinder both have resin casts they can sell if you dont NEED the real deal.

According to Andy's research, found in the link above, it seems that the most likely scopes used were either the Hunter or the Milbro. That being said, there are several scopes that can pass just fine. The main things to try and match are the scope feet and the knobs.

I am wondering who out there makes replica ASI scopes or knows where to get one that matches ASI but is another brand? Thanks
There are nine confirmed brands that definitely make the correct scope model and of those four brands come complete with the correct receiver rings and the tall claws for the rail attachment: Hunter, Jason, Milbro, and Rhino.

This is all good and accurate info Steve. Lou is correct in both that newer models are 1/2" shorter and the adjustment knobs are different. Though on the listing number above, they look similar and would pass without question. The diameter of the new and old scopes is the same or damn close. The rail attachment is completely different as stated.

You can also search for Sussex Armory.. same as ASI scope.

can't find a thread addressing it but I am looking for a cheaper option for a real replacement scope for my EE-3 (ESB Variant) and was wondering how you all thought this one looks
found it on Ebay and it says it is about 270 mm long

They're all pretty similar with the points made by Darth Vorhees so if going for a modern scope go for the cheapest one would be my course.
