Adding Sound/Light to a Webley?

Well, go down 44 and swing through OKC. I used to live in Springfield, so we go and visit family every now and then up by KC...we always stop in Jop to get some steak and shake! BOOOYAH!

Wow! I didn't think I'd spark such a debate! I was really just trying to figure out how to go about doing it without completely messing up the project, but I'm glad the 501 angle was brought up - I intend to make the Fett that I'm working on to be as accurate as possible, but I'm not a member yet and don't have any immediate plans to join. Great organization and I completely respect what you guys do; while it's not my cup of tea right now, I wouldn't want to ruin my chances of getting in if I ever chose to go that route.

Oddly enough, given the gun laws where I live, I'm not even sure I'd feel comfortable taking my blaster out in public other than on Hallowe'en. I almost like the idea of making my blaster a little more toy-like - might make the explanation a little easier should I ever get stopped/questioned by the police.

I think I'm going to go ahead with the sound/light idea and try to make it as discrete as possible - I've never assembled an EE-3 kit, let alone tried to modify one, so I'll be playing by ear hear (get it? adding sound, playing by ear? :D) I'll be aiming for an "invisible until activated" kind of approach. When I finally get a chance to start this whole thing, I'll keep you all posted.

Steak and shake?! I've lived here like 22 years and I have ate there one time. Even with it being one of 4 all night restaraunts and me being a night owl. What I ordered there was just disturbing to me, so I never went back lmao. If you guys come during normal business hours... Im trying to think of the best restaraunt here... That's at my house, culinary arts graduate here ;) So I am pretty picky about food. I'm not a fan of many restaraunts here. If you dig asian, "The Magic Noodle" is great, so is our Japanese Steak House. Other than that I suggest corporate owned places like Red Lobster :p I played a show in OKC a few years ago (music). We should definately meet up some time, it'd be nice to talk to someone in person who shares my love of star wars. Some of my friends are star wars fans, but not like us ;) Do you have any lightsabers? But yeah, I live like 5 min away from Steak and shake, that's rangeline, a couple blocks down from I-44 is 32nd street, I live down by the hospitols, basically 32nd and Jackson Ave. Wish there was some venues here. All I have is a big store that sells comics and stuff, I can't wait to show up there in full Fett mode :) They have a life size R2 and Yoda. I should stand there by them one day and scare ppl that come up to check out the displays. My first plan as being Fett in Joplin, go to that store and/or it's smaller stores and by a Fett figure. In my mind it is funny, but in reallity it may get no laughs here.

Markus, go for it! I really don't think you can mess it up, if you want, PM me with your ideas and stuff and I will try to help draw out some ideas or give you inputs. I'm good at designing stuff. Got tons of blue prints around here for things I have been wanting to work on. Good luck to you brother!
