UPDATES.
I finally received all the paint I had on order, and I got to work!
I originally used reefer yellow, but I hated how bright it was, it didn't look right to me. So instead, I made a custom mix of yellow zinc chromate with a dash of insignia red.
I feel like the darker shade looks much better with everything, while maintaining accuracy.
After I knocked out that chest piece, I went to town on MOST of the other plates
This build is actually my first time using topical weathering for most of the costume. Needless to say, I'm enjoying the process! I finished the collar, diamond, and epoxied the darts into the knees. I'm gonna try to get some good pictures of everything and update this WIP tomorrow.
