ESB: Weathering the Stalk

FWIW, I ended up using Humbrol weathering powder. I used the guide from Humbrol's website on how to use. The stuff does not stay put very well, even with the Decalfix, but it looks great and it looks very natural. I used a combination of rust and burnt earth powder. I would have used sand if I had some. I also added some sports of leather colored paint as referenced by F4R above. It worked our pretty well.

What if you put a base down of something like e 6000?
