First timer attempting helmet painting

Hey everyone!

Just purchased a rubie's deluxe Boba Fett helmet, and decided to insult the 1st grader who painted it when it was manufactured and repaint it to be movie accurate.
I had done a little research on the helmet and from what I've read is that it has potential, I'm pretty excited to start on this journey, although I do live in New England and its really cold right now, so this might take a little while.

They can be painted to look decent. Search a bit and you will find some threads that show the transformation.

As someone who has taken apart two of these the brow right under the arrows becomes VERY weak when the visor is removed.
