It may be hard to believe, but I do enjoy sci-fi other than Star Wars. ;)

Today marks the 50th anniversary of one of the most pioneering, enduring, and well-loved sci-fi franchises ever--Star Trek.
The very first episode, "The Man Trap," premiered on September 8th, 1966. I "premiered" on August 23rd, 1966, so I'm
older than Star Trek!

Happy birthday to Star Trek, in all its incarnations. Live long and prosper!

I've been re-watching all the episodes on Netflix. I can't get over how sexist it is. Totally wouldn't fly today, but, still fun to watch.

off topic side note....I just found the whole series " In Search Of " with Spock Leonard Nimoy 146 wonderful episodes now thats gona drive the wife nuts..lmao !!
