Official Converted Nintendo Zapper ESB sidearm thread

Definitly a sweet looking peice. But the grip on the actual sidearm has finger grooves, that would be very hard to do.

Has anyone a screen accurate holster?

:) dont think that has been done or ever will, after all, the only thing we have are those blurry shots of it, enough to see its a black holster...

:D ok i wanr you...but you asked for it...

im a little further now, weatehred jumpsuit, knees (not that you cna sse heere i dotn have em yet) tk-409 neckseal and last but not least: a true build-up an hevaily edited rufkintoy esb flamethrower (plus new paintjob on gauntlet keypad an missile) ow and a chest light display, ala tk-409 bikelight way...

incase ur wonderin, forget the crappy blaster, i need a new one, also want to redo my entire armor set (made of cheapo plexiglas) and the helmet is a pre-tdh-discoverd rubies jango helmet, painted by me from pics of starwarshelmets.com...like i said, didnt know of tdh when i did that, so my FG helmet wich i hope to purchase around the summer will be better...alot better.

the band pic shows teh overall look of the costume... never mind teh creepy dork on the right... that guitar was also painted by me incase ur wonderin...

How much do of the top of the gun do you cut off? Do you have any project pictures? Im about to buy a lot of six of those zappers, two I will actual keep for my NES, four will be converted. I'm not going for screen accurate, so I'll probably have two of them on my costume and then just some extras for goofing around with or whatever other reason. Anyway, just wondering how much of the top of the gun you remove. Is it the whole thing or just the barrel or what?

OK, thanks! Now that I have the general idea, I can probably just get creative. That second pic should be enough for me to get started on it.

Poor nintendo zap guns... a moment of silence for them please... ... ok they are being recycled into good uses.. just please buy a "new" one and use the worst condition or broken guns... collectors items and all. (The original color scheme is hard to find and worth money believe it or not)

what?? they are? I got another workin one upstairs, there was this junk market last weekend where people sell there junk... so toys, furniture etc etc... I found my own NES there like a year ago, bought one for 20 euros, didnt work BUT, it had 2 workin controllers and a zapper + the original box and booklets etc etc + about 10 games... even the foam... so I went back to the junk sell a little depressed for my NES not workin (the cable that attaches the screen an NES was also missing , used teh one from my SNES, but showed that the NES itself was broken...just kept blinking from white to black screen, no matter what you did)

then there was another one, without box, and few more games and again 2 controllers, all cables, AND a zapper...5 euros all together... bought it...worked perfectly :cheers

So I used one of them zappers for my sidearm... now this year, I must have come across 8 of these zappers all sold by different people, most people had 2 of em.. now I dont know if they all worked, but the most expensive 1 was 2,50 euros..

In A'dam there is this gaming shop, specialised in old consoles, like old sega's, atari's an old NES, SNES & N64, where they also sell these zappers, for about 6.50 euros... not that expensive...

That's essentially what I did.
The finger/trigger guard was taken from an "el cheapo" gas lighter...(you know, the ones that spark when you pull the trigger to light the gas)

new pic with the silver thingy screwed in..

i went climbing this week... thought id recognized an item... the barrel tip on the esb side-arm, is it possible to eb the sam as a carabiner safety ring??

I can't say it think it looks anything like it.

 well I was a bit reluctant to say that but...

well the thing under the barrel looks a bit like the MLC one... but then again, who can tell us that teh MLC is 100% accurate, its a damn fine pistol, but the real deal has never been seen aside from the blurry pics an movie stills, an always in its holster...

true, but almost all of the old SW guns were just real guns that they managed to get from surplus stores, which helped them evade the wierd 50's lasers.

I mean, The Dl-44 is a mauser + scope and wierd muzzle. The De-10 is a revolver. The ee3 is a flaregun and a stock. the e-11 carbine is actually a fully auto ukranian weapon. the heavy repeater is also a wierd gun (dont rmeember name or where it from, but It's in a big book o' guns i've got.) and it has a wierd muzzle added on. The republic blaster is a semi-auto carbine from (i think) austria.

I've just never seen a gun that even looks remotly similar to the ESB gun or the daisy, or the duck hunt lightgun. Chances are that he ESB gun is a daisy (prolly modded) and the duck hunt gun was probably modeled after it, just as the guncon 3 is after a Deagle, but to anyone who's held a deagle and shot one, the guncon 3 is VASTY different from a real deagle. I mean, the trigger assembly is differnt on the duck-hunt gun, but, The pistol style isn't a common one, also, the gun proportions are slightly off in barel length to grip length, So I think it was probably front heavy.

I thought the E-11 was a gun called a "sterling" and the big heavy repeater is to as far as I know called a "Lewis" gun
