My Boba helmet

Hey all. Haven't posted much here but I did this helmet a few years ago on deployment. Made due with the colors I had. Any suggestions or comments are welcomed. Thank you in advance

I hear you on that. I had to re do my Visor on my commander Cody helmet 4 times. (I kept getting hot glue all over) I ended up going the car tint route the 3rd time and I wouldn't recommend it. Not only is it really hard to cut the right template with out any jagged edges that will drive you crazy, but it seams to me that you loose a lot of clarity. I don't think that stuff is meant to adhere to plastic. Also I can't imagine trying to apply it while the visor is in the helmet. You have to use a spray and then scrape the bubbles out in a large sweeping motion and there has to be somewhere for the liquid to go. Sorry to shoot down your idea by all means if you think you can do it go for it, but tint is expensive you really can't buy a small amount. What I finally ended up doing was getting one of these visors and JB welding a Chicago screw to each side of the helmet and then drilling a hole in the visor where those lined up. Then you just pop 2 of the male screws in the visor and viola! No messy glue and it is healed firmly in place! That's my plan with my Boba helmet as well. Hope that was helpful!
