Chest light dillema...

After many months, I was finally able to start work on my ROTJ Fett. Good news is I'm almost 90 percent done! Yay, me!

Have a bit of a conundrum. This is a Fettronics light set (purchased last year, not sure what version). This is RKD armor (the larger sized). This is about as even as I can get the lights. If I cut one slot bigger than the other it's just not gonna look right and you'll be able to see the circuits in the back.

Is there another Fettronics kit out there that will fit correctly or should I just install and go?

I only know of one other than another guy selling a different kit now on the forums here. Hopefully someone can give you a better idea but honestly I think you will need to bondo/repaint that armor to make it look correct.

That sucks - the armor came like that . It was painted by Sleepalot. Not sure if he cut it like that or not

Fettronics to the rescue! I can order a split board design to accommodate the slots.

The distance between the 2 slots is almost half of the required value; the cut outs should look like this:
