My first Boba / a ESB WIP

Hi folks!

This is my first thread on TDH
I spent most of the time here in the Cargo Hold hunting for parts.
Now that i have most of the parts together or on the way, it is time to start a wip thread and share my build process and collect/discuss thoughts and ideas

Here is my Setup so far:

- animefan resin helmet kit (reinforced with fiberglass)
- all softparts from Loanstar
- MOW Boots with selfmade spikes
- armor parts from RKD
- selfmade Shin tools from original paterson parts
- Ammobelt Bobamaker
- girthbelt from my wifes horse
- gauntlets MOW
- scratchbuild holster

My armor parts and gauntlets are on their long journey to germany but here are some pics of my actual status

Thanks mate! I also think it should be a solid setup, not high-end but good looking at a "affordable" price.
Would be great to troop with some other german Fett's!Maybe with 501st, but i'm not sure if i can fulfill the requirements for registration. Just heard that it would not be easy, especially with a Boba costume

From what I can see if you keep going the way your going you will get approved. I had to re submit a few pictures for mine etc but it would come down to your GML at your 501st squad. Good luck and have fun!

I made some progress on the helmet paintjob today.
My eyes are burning after all that details painted 8-/

Pulling off the masking fluid is exciting every time, the magical moments during the paintjob (-:

Looking really good! Which paint list is that? Jayvee's? And are you doing stencils or freehand?

Thanks mate!
I don't really know whos paintlist it is, but i use the attached pic as a lead and mix the colors to my own preference. I mask mostly freehand with one eye on the stencils to give my paintjob a bit of a personal note

finished the paintjob on the dome today. Well i think it is never really finished (-; but i will leave it as it is right now and head on to the next stage of the helmet.

Wow, amazing. Your skill is on point. I am not nearly as artistic as you so I am definitely feeling overwhelmed when it comes to my build. Good luck, doesn't look like you need it though. haha

Thanks guys!
I use an airbrush for the bigger areas. I would say i use the airbrush and my fine brushes 50/50 on this paintjob

Here are some pics of my finished helmet in fading daylight. Maybe i add a few more details in the future but for now i will leave it as it is and start working on the armor parts

I use PC Flexmask usually used for soldering masking. Works great, with no bleeding and dries pretty fast

Some little progress on my Boba. I finished the work on the softparts today. Lots of snaps for the pouches and the vest. I also reworked the spats, boots and my EE-3

Today i finished the first parts of my RKD armor and test-installed my Fettronics chest light
