So this is kind of side project in between other projects while I wait for some money to come in. I have alot of the stuff at home I need to start this build. I've been wanting to do this ever since dressing up as Boba as a kid. Now to get to work on an big kid version heh. Started with the helmet 20131231_022005_resized.jpg20131231_093652_resized.jpg20140105_113018_resized.jpg

then hardened it 20140112_184625_resized.jpg20140112_184633_resized.jpg20140112_184649_resized.jpg

then started laying in some bondo getting a good base layer going 20140113_195839_resized.jpg20140113_164103_resized.jpg20140113_164040_resized.jpg

I chopped the ears off after getting the shape I wanted and filled it in with some more bondo 20140113_195906_resized.jpg20140113_195930_resized.jpg

I think I'm horrible at taking pictures cause the helmet actually closely resembles Boba's helmet in shape, but for some reason it looks more narrow in pics.

Cutting out piece for the jetpack right now ... I got thick styrene which I'm kind of hating right now but I wanted it to be sturdy without having to fiberglass it. 20140128_234219_resized.jpg

Going in between the helmet and started working on the jetpack... I've figured where everything is supposed to go with the exception of these pieces 20140204_010128_resized.jpg there's another set of pieces that look the same just a little slimmer and smaller. Can anyone help me out? I feel like I don't need them, but they were there so I just want to make sure before I start glueing things. I'm using WOF templates.

Here is a photo of my pack showing what pieces they look like to me.

That's what I thought these pieces were for

That is correct but the first pieces that you showed are the pieces to box those in. They should create a bottom for those pieces to give the sides something to glue to.

There is a similar pieces for the white area as well.

It would be up to you if you want to use them but they would help in the strength of that area on the pack.

ooooh ok I understand now thanks

I almost didn't want to build this part of the missile again but im glad I did. the one on the right is the first one where i couldn't get it cylinder at all and the one on the left is the one I just built where everything looks much better and i won't have to do much filler work on it. 20140213_181026_resized.jpg

Finishing up the tanks. I don't know if this could help anyone but I couldn't get the right thickness with a 2" pvc pipe so after wrapping the ends with 2 sheets of 1mm styrene the thickness is perfect and the endcaps fit snug 20140223_145901_resized.jpg
