Thanks guys:D

I am finally finished with the pistol/stock. It is ready to be painted. Now all I have to do is get the grip for the barrel and I can paint the barrel and I will be done with the whole thing. I am so glad that I don't have to cut another piece of sintra. My index finger is still hurting from pressing down on the xacto knife. What can i say, it was a labor of love and was well worth the pain:D

Ok guys I need your help. I need the grip for the barrel. Does any body now ware I can get about 7 feet for less than $5 a foot? That's the only reason I don't have any it is expensive. I hate to pay almost $40 for the grip alone. Thanks guys:D

Dude! The greeblies look awesome on it.

Have you tried making the grip from two pieces of thin styrene or sintra glued together in a T shape? You can use a thicker piece on the bottom and then round out the portion that will be setting on the barrel.

I think there once was a post on the ASAP board on haw to build it.

I think that is going to be your cheapest route.

Thanks.

I thought about making the grip myself but my finger is numb from cutting the other pieces so I am going to give it a break. Plus I think the real grip will probably look better. I went ahead and ordered it today. So soon I will be able to complete the barrel and then off to paint. I have already painted the pistole/stock today with primer. I found a few flaws scratches and other little things like that so before i paint for the last time i am going to fill those in with glazing putty.:D

Damn you're good. Keep posting those pics. I'm about to start on my custom blaster. Been buying bits and pieces that feel right for what I want.

 WOW, it's amazing the way this project is coming out! How did I missed this??? Keep the good work. I can't wait to see the final result. This is what this board is all about...to try to "do-it-yourself" make a Fett. :)(y)

Wow! Its looking great!

I just noticed something...you don't have a hammer on it. Is that because of personal preference?

Thanks guys:D

I did not like the hammer because it is a laser rifle and there really is no need for it. So I just made it more smoothed out. I always thought it was out of place. I also used ESB type gribleys on the barrel to give it more detail.:D

I have painted the pistol/stock flat black and attached the T-grip to the barrel. Any body have any weathering suggestions? I will post pics as soon as secol_fett's server is back up:D

Thanks:D

The barrel is now black and I have put some battle damage on. I may have over done it a bit on the stock and pistol. What do you guys think? It is not done yet so I can touch up as I go. I still want to put some rust and gray colors on for aging.
