HELP PLEASE !!!!!

Hello there im making a Boba fett costume and need to know some details into areas of the costume im unsure of.

First is the soft areas.
>Im 14 years old - currently 5'6'' howwever the costume is to be worn in public in my next year, by then i may be 5'8''.
> What do i use for the flight suit area?
> should i make the costume?
> Should i print templates a bit bigger than they should be? ( I am using wizardofflight's templates)

Next is the other parts:
> Should i use EVA for the hard areas?
> Do i stick them on with hot glue?
