Carrie Fisher (not) CONFIRMED for new trilogy

i read somewhere that mark hamil was confirmed as well for making an appearance. and as long as they put a death scene in for han solo, harrison ford said he'd do it too.

are they throwing continuation to the wind? I thought when Lucas agreed upon all the novels of the EU the emphasis was on the continuity of the story.To do this without continuation of all the great stories we've read just seems ridiculous.

"UPDATE: Sadly, it turns out that she was kidding when she made that comment. A representative of Ms. Fisher confirmed that her statement was "tongue-in-cheek." Ah, well. We can always hope that this sparked the right kind of thoughts with Lucasfilm, as we'd love to see her in a new Star Wars film!"
