Here´s the new paintjob thread for CaptainSolo´s FP Premium helmet.
This helmet gets the same style as the TF helmet I am painting at the same time ... so 2 helmets getting produced almost equally in time.
Here are first pictures of the delivery status:
BEFORE:
Step 1: Visor and keyslots cut + primer
The visor and the keyslots have been cut with a nice straight line. No bumps or jumps, nice and even. The first layer of primer is on too. The whole helmet has a clean even light grey surface now.
Step 2: Nice and shiny silver
The silver layer went on very nice. Absolutely even and without any bumps. Pretty nice. Next step is already in the making ... the masking fluid is being painted on while these new pics are watched.
Step 3: Dark grey dome/lower cheeks and lighter grey trim/mandibles
Step 4: Mandibles purple layer
Step 5: Mandibles red layer and Backpanels beige
Step 6 + 7: Backpanels green + Dome and lower cheeks main green
Final Step: The helmet in all its glory with weathering!
[/B]
Finally after a too long period of time this helmet is ready! Thank you Robert for all the patience you had. I really hope you like your lid and have fun with it!
Best,
Manuel
