New Hunter
and to nate himself i say the following:
well budd, i really dont mind. i mean it isnt that hard to do once you know how, and i can always send it modded and unpainted to ya. the paint job should be your honor to do atleast.
what i did for mine was lengthen the barrel, making sure to make fins longer too, put a metal tube between the housing of the light emitter, and the outside so that you dont get that red beam showing through the sides, and sanded off the disclaimers engraved in it as well as filled in all the screw holes, and sanded down any other odd bumps that didnt fit with the real deal.
keep in mind that the only few things right with it are the blaster handle, the diameter of the barrel is correct, and that the scope is the right-ish length. needless to say i replace the toy scope with a real 4 power scope u can buy at any walmart for a good 20 bux.
i can always leave it on for you though if u wish, plus then you dont have to be careful with the painting.
as for the grip, i had to replace it with a more realistically larger grip, and i replaced the guard rim attatching the stock to it with an all metal piece. the stock had to be dropped and replaced with good ol wood too. thank god for woods shop in high school, (something you can always benefit from alongside with metals and machine shop classes. they become very handy to know in cosplaying btw)
i intend on posting step by step pics soon if i make another. ill definately keep ya in the loop budd.
