Rub n Buff advice?

ok, so I've seen seekers video on RnB and I've had experience with my old sintra armor. Now I upgraded to fiberglass and started to buff some pieces this weekend and its been driving me INSANE!:wacko any nifty tips on how to buff my gaunts? they look harder to buff due to grooves and curves against a easy shoulder or thigh piece. any RnB advice in general? stuff is gunna be the death of me.

Join the sore hand club. You can do some searches in the Jango forum and get a lot of tips. Mine are this. Start with a really smooth surface. I wet sanded with 800 then 1000 then 1500 then 2000 grit wet or dry sandpaper. Next use RNB sparinly. If you put a lot on there you are going to get streaks. Also, don't worry if it looks bad. You can wetsand it again and start over and weathering will cover a multitude of the problems. Just know that the actual screen used pieces weren't perfect. They had swirls and light and dark areas. One other tip is to buff with a nice soft cloth like an old shirt. It will help even the finish. Good luck and let us know if you need any more tips.

for my gauntlets after sanding and priming and sanding and re-priming, i gave them a coat of silver spray paint before the rnb. it gives the illusion of better coverage.
