From Blue to Black?

Does anyone know if a dark blue Dickie's jumpsuit can be dyed to a faded black? I was planning on first using the color remover, then dying black, then fading. Will this work or will it still look blue? (It's for a custom)

btw I know there are grey ones but I already have a blue so that's why I ask.

MY GUESS WOULD BE THAT YOU WILL NOT GET THE DESIRED EFFECT YOU ARE LOOKING FOR.START WITH A GREY ONE.

Just dye it black and leave it in the sun for while or mist with grey paint to make it look faded. There is no need for color remover for going to a lighter to a darker color such as black.

You'll probably need to use double the dye packets. The liquid dye is also slightly better. Faded black is about what will come out by dyeing them. If you wanted dark black, that would be harder. If they do come out too dark, just wash them in soapy hot water a few times. :)
