BooBoo Fett
Active Hunter
Well, my TDH Brothers, I present the following for your consideration...
After trooping in Anaheim, then baby sitting my brothers kids, I finally got some time to finish my ammo belt tonight. This will be the belt for my suit...
BooBoo Fett ROTJ Ammo Belt #00001
The belt strap is hand cut 5-6 oz cowhide. Sturdy, but much more flexible than off the shelf, pre-cut belt strap. Ammo Pouches are FUNCTIONAL. Not thin leather wrapped around sheet metal, Tupperware or a block of wood. These are hand tooled 3-4 oz cowhide. Utilizing a leather "hinge", I was able to use the wrap around flap as the belt loop for a more screen accurate look (something I was unable to do with my previous design). Cross stitching on the top and bottom of the pouch further enhances the screen look.
I have some very minor tweaking to do on my master patters. If there is enough interest, I hope to be offering ESB, ROTJ ($210, 8 pouches) and SE belts ($240, 12 pouches) in the next week or so.
Thanks to all of you that offered your support, comments and suggestions (please continue). I could not have done this without your help and encouragement.
