Gauntlet Progress with pics UPDATE 16 July

thanks for the kind words everyone :)

heres another tip

- Painting faint scratches -

Use a old tooth brush and paint on the silver on to it, don't add loads of paint as this will leave big a mess.

Gently skim across the surface in one direction and
hay presto instant scratches.

cheers

Got myself some Toe nail scissors today and cut away the excess plastic. It was very easy because of the curve on the scissors, then I used sandpaper to smooth it out.

Question, did you painted all the scratches topicaly or did you painted the gauntlets silver over the gray primer??
Also, how did you attached the bottom part of the flame thrower so nicely, did you used bondo??

Thanks for the great tips, they are helping me a great deal. :)

Guys

When i constructed the flame thrower unit I half filled it with resin to give it more strength and weight.

Then drilled small pilot holes and used small brass screws to screw it onto the guant where the resin is half filling the flame thrower unit.

heres how i painted the gauntlets.
