Hi everyone,
I've been doing a bit of prep work on my armor. I just aqquired the material i will be using to make the base structure of it.
It's a handy little plastic called wonderflex. For those of you who don't know it, it's a thermoplastic, similar to styrene only thicker and able to take a bell curve. Comes in real handy for female armor. Now the problem with this is, wonderflex has a texture to it, like gauze or ducttape and it's not going to cut it for armor. I need to smooth it down with something. I'm a bit worried about using bondo. Does anyone have any idea how Apoxie sculpt, paperclay, woodglue, magic smooth or sculpt and coat would work? which would do best for trooping? Will there be any wieght issues? any advice is appreicated. Thanks!
