Ciao ciao,
I want show you my crazy work on my OSCS armor!
I'm rebulding all the angles because i want a "super spiky armor"!
I'm using only liquid ABS (abs+acetone) for a better result.

Well, there is still a looot of work to do:cry.....

Cool Darkside! I dig that you are sharpening up the lines, I am doing the same on my current build. As the old saying goes: The Devils in the details! (y):cheers

very sharp details Dark-side!! it`s looking real good, also the cut-out of the front plate!!
like RS said, the devil is in the details!!
for the liquid abs, what kind of brand are you using??

keep up the good work and show us more pics of your progress!!

for the liquid abs, what kind of brand are you using??

I'm using the extra ABS of the untrimmed armor pieces dissolved with the Acetone. NO Bondo, no filler, no epoxy resin, the same Abs of the armor!
IMO it's the best way to add material on the armor, it has the same strength and same flexibility because it's 100% compatible! It's like weld 2 iron pieces or glued them! Better the welding!;)

There is a negative side....you must wait 48 h before sand it.

what bit did you use in your dremel for the face plate cut off?

Thanks guys for the comments!
:cheers

Very Nice work!!

I like how you sharpened all the edges of the armor, well done!

I'm very curious about the outcome of your project, more pics please!

I love what I see! I just got the NEYO from tk 1389 too. I'm sculpting my own armor. Although I like the armor you have I agree that it is somewhat
rounded (possibly because the thickness of the ABS doesn't allow it to be as pointy as you want it).
What drill bit did you use to cut the face off? I know TK 1389 suggested a number 15 exacto knife...but I saw you with your dremel and thought it would be easier that way.
Keep up the great work!
