If you can, try to take a pic similar to this one, at approximately this size so we can clearly see the tips.
I would make sure the camera focus is centered over the end tips as opposed to the entire part. That way it will be looking more straight down at the part we want to see rather than at an angle like in the following pic.
I second that. I have perfect faith in Gav's ability but I agree with Gino that a good comparison of these tiny buggers is in order.
Afterall, I bought a set of Russ' new gauntlet darts without such comparisons and now here I am wanting a set of Gav's...:rolleyes
That's fair enough to have the high expectations, all I'm saying is I don't think there's a need to jump in and tell him how to take a comparison shot! Just wait until the revised darts are ready and for Gav to post the new pics. If the angle is off slightly then ask if he can take another.
Oh quit being so sensitive/defensive.
It's better to ask before hand than after the fact.
We are all on the same team with the same goal, making sure these are perfect.
BTW, if you read earlier posts, I did ask for specific shots and the ones he took weren't very helpful for comparing. I hoped that this time being more specific about what we need to see would be helpful to him, and us.
Skip - Cheers buddy, got my back and I know what you mean.
Gino - If I take some 'close' up shots and it's still not clear then I can count on you to ask for another.
Back on topic please? I *fingers crossed* will pick the new one today and new pics taken!
Here are the things that I'm seeing and want you to take a look at.
It looks like just a couple of the lengths could just be adjusted slightly and then I think you are there.
What do you guys think?
