Got a start on my Fang helmet, here are a few pics...

The ears temporarily in place...

Base coat is Testor's "aluminum plate" metallizer...

Scratched the borden connector out of styrene, the molded one was kinda deformed...

My intent is to paint it as close to the MoM ROTJ as I can, should be fun :D

Looking good so far! I'm curious how you got the frosted look on your RF lens. Did you lightly sand the back side of clear acrylic sheet?
 
Firespray, I used pieces cut from a CD case and fine sanded them. The green lines are 1/16" clear acrylic rod sanded and painted with transparent green...

Thanks guys, hopefully my patience holds out and it ends up comparable to some of the excellent helmets I've seen here. Besides, gotta have a little love for ROTJ... :lol:
