How about calling it the 'M' Helm? Along the same lines as the Mystery and Movie Sized Helms?

Another reason for calling it the 'M' Helm is that maker's name happens to start with the letter 'M' too. :)

Stay safe all!

Well, that's good start! All great helmets from TDH do start with a "M"! :D

The rangefinder is going to be slick! Two separate castings, Top black, bottom clear.
More details to follow...

Most helmets are cast without the earpieces attached, right?

thanks all!!

The helmet looks great, very clean and detailed. I have been
contemplating on building one in the future. I would like to know how the dome was made for future ref. Keep up the
goood work!

Thanks

I may just be losing them in the background but the earpieces look to be a bit thin to me. Maybe if we could get some pics against a solid background. Still lookin good though. Keep the updates coming.

IMO, on the side profile shot, it looks like the lower jaw area towards the ear area is too low. Looking at the reference picture, the helmet progresses back in what appears to be a somewhat straight line. On this helmet, there is two separate lines: one from the visor area to the front of the ear area and one from the ear to the back of the helmet. So to correct this, the visor area would have to be lengthened or the ear areas shortened. Am I off my rocker? Did any one else see this? Other than that, it looks like a very nice helmet.:)

Believe it or not guys, even though the thing looks HUGE in the pictures, it's actually very close in size to the movie sized helmet. Little bit bigger, but, not that much.

For you bigger headed guys, it'll be a godsend! :)

If my earlier post did not make any sense, I have drawn the jawline to more closely match the picture. If this looks crazy, I'll shut up.:) Obviously, this would change other proportions, but not much. This looks like a killer helmet, but I did notice this one area.

Well, after I posted this, I do see that in one picture with the ears, the maker has this precise area penciled to be cut off. My bad! I do not know why, but that one area really bugged me.
