I really like your step by step image approach Iron Forge.. it's inspiring me to try a project of my own just trying to figure out various methods so watching other people is useful

New update as of yesterday. I updated the thread at http://www.thedentedhelmet.com/showthread.php?t=30200. Basically looks the same. I will be working on the ears, top of dome and back of head. All the casting materials should be coming in by next week. I look forward to wrapping up the helmet so I can continue the rest of the armor.

is there a reason (I am sure there is) why everyone is making their helmets with such large eye slits? I have an old pair of polar glasses with small slits in them and can still see just fine. is it because your view is obscured being so far back from the slits?

this is great work I just cant do complex curves like IM bucket
