Weathering new Evolution Boba boots

Okay. Those of you that have read Spidyfett's CAboots weathering tutorial may find this familiar.

I started off with a new, clean Evolution boot. In this post you'll see the primary wash colors put down.

I started a bit different than Spidey and used a base coat of Apple Barrel Iron Grey. Then I mixed up a wash of the Ceramcoat charcoal and white.

I'll do the dark highlights tomorrow. :cheers

Stussy, those are about as cheap as you are going to find (around $100 with shipping!!)

so Mike, what do you think about them? how do they compare to CaBoots? or dare I say, MC boots?

UPDATE: 11/18

I added the straw/burnt umber highlights to the boot and the seams to the sole.

I also added the purple/lavender highlights to the boot. Instead of purple, I used the Eggplant color. It was darker to start with and I added less black.

I will scuff up the boots with some sandpaper later, but I won't bore you with those pics.
