Sgt fang inside reforcement,

Hey im thinking about painting another sgt fang.. I was wondering if everyone has reforced the inside with fiberglass or wondering about people are using.

hey bud, i used Elmer's fiberglass repair kit from lowes...same aisle as the wood stain, and just mixed up the epoxy and resin, smoooted it on using those cheap black foam paint brushes with the wooden handle used for wood stain, layed down some fiberglass cloth, then put a second layer of the mix on top using the same brush!! wallah! reinforcement....i only did the mandibles, but that would be the same process for the whole inside...make sure to use some medium grit sandpaper on the places you want to reinforce so that the fiberglass has some "teeth" so to speak to grab onto... feel free to contact me with questions...i did this on my gauntlets as well, and really solidified them...
