Need to sort out some rough spots and the door closure so it is ultra slick and then some markers (pilot holes) for the stabilizer and beacon. Also considering very slight recesses for locating jet pack hooks in the back. Then this part will be ready for casting.
Very close on this being finished now. I have filled and smoothed out the majority of the imperfections. I will have another go to get the last of them and that should be it.
I have pre-drilled holes for some of the greeblies and will be drillig some guide holes for the position of the stabalizer and beacon, in addition to the other greeblie mounts. I expect to get some more of the greeblies over the next week or two.
I got the new missile housing sorted and the missile improved. They now needs some work to smooth them up. The missile housing will be cast separately from the main body.
Ok, so I will no doubt start to make the mold this week. I have about enough stuff for about 5 packs, so I am looking forward to starting the next part of this project. 8)
I will probably have a threaded rod and a wing nut type affair. The thrusters are being made at the moment and should be pretty nice. The master will be solid ali
I have about 30 sets of 'found part' style greeblies sorted, with the exception of the unidentified one, which I am looking at getting manufactured soon. The rest are actual parts - some vintage new - old stock 8)
I have sorted an earth magnet closure system for the rear hatch too!
I need to try and get a price down as members have been asking :facepalm should have an idea by the end of the week.
Also - I did not mention that an accurate metal harness is in the pipe line too - but can't say too much just yet 8)
