Whats up? Im new here and i wanted to showoff my scratch built Sunabozu/Desert punk helmet and maybe the techiques i used can be applied to your scratch builds. Anyways i started with a gas mask face shield, a skate board helmet, aluminum cans and a dream
tinted the face shield with refective car window tint
The face shield and helmet shapes fit together really well but needed to be extended with cans. I started by cutting the cans into flat squares and tracing the shapes they were to fit together with onto them. next id cut and hot glue pieces onto them selfs layering to the proper thickness.
sorry there arent more pics of this process but its just measuring, tracing, cutting, bending and gluing
painted pretty much finished except the ports on the back for gas mask hose to connect to a real ac unit!!! and the clips that hold the front part the back
