We have opened the Wiki for viewing and will be granting the ability to edit the wiki to a beta group to begin with and will eventually open the ability to edit to everyone. If you feel you have something meaningful to contribute to the wiki, please PM me as we may add you to the beta group. Thanks in advance for your support!

So we've done some updates to make the wiki friendlier.

Rather than going to http://www.thedentedhelmet.com/showthread.php?t=25919 to get there, you can now go to http://www.thedentedhelmet.com/wiki/

Throughout the wiki, you'll notice that the links are much friendlier... they are now all in the form of http://www.thedentedhelmet.com/wiki/25948.

As we progress, we'll be making it even easier still. Be on the lookout for REALLY easy to remember links like
http://www.thedentedhelmet.com/wiki/BobaFett

Through it all, the older styles will always work, so no need to update bookmarks. What, you don't have wiki pages bookmarked yet? Why not!?!

I suspect there will be some broken links in there... I tried to nail them all, but there are a LOT of links. If you click anything under /wiki/ that doesn't go where you expect, please shoot me a PM and I'll fix it up.

I've seen alot of new stuff getting added, this is a great resource and I hope everyone takes advantage of it! And as always thanks to everyone who has worked on it and the site to make it that much better! Perfection may not be attainable, just like our costumes, but constant tweeks get us that much closer!

Just wanted to give an update and let you know that the Wiki is now open to all members to make edits to the existing threads. You can not create new threads but any member can add/edit information!

Just one Question, will the information being edited or added by members be verified or checked as "Fact or Common knowledge" before being added?? .....or did I miss that part?

There are a few of us that were in the beta group who have the ability to more or less "moderate" the wiki. We keep an eye on the edits.

it's all sort of a community experiment... in theory, if one person puts in something that is untrue, another will catch it and check it.

this can lead to trouble, but also can lead to it being something that has a life of its own, as part of the community.
