Thats one dirty dented helmet you got there sir! Lovely paintjob...
What are you using as reference for the damage?...

For the damage I crumpled up a few feet of aluminum foil, then unfolded it and painted on liquid latex. I then rolled the helmet over and across the foil to apply the damage. The helmet had a chrome and clearcoat finish to it at this point. After the latex had dried I sprayed the whole helmet with grey and then masked around the existing latex with more liquid latex.
